The Shiva Shanti II is a 3 way hybrid which consists mostly an Afghani strain that Sensi Seed call Garlic Bud because of its aroma characteristic. The Shiva Shanti II contains a smaller part of this Garlic Bud and is added with skunk and another Afghani. It is a less stable four way hybrid but quality wise, very nice.

Shiva Skunk

This cross between Skunk No.1and Northern Lights No.5 is one of the most reliable varieties that Sensi have ever produced. Excellent hybrid vigour and yield make this one a snap to grow. Taste and high are similar to Skunk No.1, a rich sweet pungency, but with more resin and better yield. High calyx to leaf ratio, you can almost throw those scissors away as very little manicuring is required. An absolute must for beginners or experts.

As is clear from the name, Sensi’s most recent Skunk variant mixes the pure Afghani genes of Hindu Kush with the explosive vigour and unstoppable performance of Skunk #1.

Less well known is the fact that there are several generations of cross-breeding in the history of Skunk Kush that add a distinctly different character to this strain.

Skunk Kush has the thick stems and dark, leathery foliage of her Afghanica parent and displays Skunk’s vigour and size, typically gaining about 150% of her vegetated height in blooming, occasionally more. Bud formation is the particular winner in this pungent, hashy melting pot of cannabis cultivars.

At the Cannabis Cup in November '97 many were honoured to meet Rita Marley. She and the atmosphere of the Cup made Sensi Seeds decide to start to work on a strain that would be made in honour of Bob Marley, her late husband. Seedlings can be easily identified as Indica or Sativa by the time they have grown a few sets of leaves, allowing growers to flower the slim-bladed Sativa plants soon after germination and give wide-leafed Indicas a longer growing period.
